Lovely staff, always very helpful. The attached wine store has a good selection at reasonable prices whilst the tourist information office also has gifts and local produce available. And, of course, plenty of information about what's going on locally.

Super helpful staff and lots of information about the area. If you're visiting the town then the little tourist train stops right outside and gives you a quick overview of Saumur. It stops at the chateau for a picture stop too (and it's free in your birthday!) Collected plenty of information for our next visit to the Loire..

Saumur is a lovely place to visit. Nice scenery, good food and great local wines. The nearby Gratien and Mayer winery is well worth a tour(€3 each or €2.50 for 15 or more)excellent local sparkling wine. At least 2 or 3 days worth of things to see, and if you like cycling there is a cycle route along the River Loire and plenty of hotels that cater for cyclists.

Very helpful , great service. Open at 9:30 and the assistance gave us info , brochures and map , even call the bus/train to get us info about time travel etc.
